pizza dough

1 cup warm water
1 cup milk
5 tsp yeast
3 tsp sugar

Combine and let bloom 3-5 minutes in mixing bowl.

Add in 3.5 cups of all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
2 tbs olive oil
1 tbs Italian seasoning* optional

Mix on medium low for about 4 minutes. Cover and set aside. Once doubled in size ( an hour or two), pour out onto floured counter and roll out into a large rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

Pizza rolls

Spread with sauce and toppings like you’re making a regular pizza. But now you’ll start rolling one end (long way), like you’re rolling up  a cinnamon roll! Keep rolling until you have a long pizza log! Cut into 12 circles about 2 inches thick. Place in muffin tin.

Melt 1 stick of butter in a saucepan and mix in 2 tbs dried Italian herb seasoning, and 1/4 cup pecorino Romano cheese. Mix and using a spoon, spoon the mixture over each pizza roll.

bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.
