THE ENGLISH COUNTRYSIDE RETREAT

for those seeking beauty in the ordinary, magic in the mundane, praise for the in-between, and art in the everyday

I think that when we look at our daily lives through a lens of creativity, art, and whimsy, we begin to take notice of the abundant blessings all around us. This shift allows gratitude to seep into the very heart of what we do each day. And it is that gratitude that cultivates intention and purpose, which perpetuates the joy and fulfillment we are able to foster for our family. When we seek beauty in our everyday lives, we are saying yes to creation, to the possibility of what God is capable of. Even in the smallest ways… the innate art present in our daily lives, renders the beauty that can spread lovingly near and far.

The English Countryside Retreat is for the everyday “artist.” The mother, the woman, the creative business owner, the soul who knows there is more purpose in this life than busy, checklists, and “keeping up.” There is intention in making this one precious life something that not only honors the blessings and gifts we are surrounded by (both within our home and outside of it), but also honors the ultimate Creator in all we do.

Join us for an incredible 3 night, 4 day experience in the idyllic English countryside. Attendees will stay in a gorgeous 17th century stone cottage in the quaint village of Kingham in the Cotswolds. A short walk through this beautiful pastoral setting brings us to Daylesford Organic Farm, where we will sample the gorgeous local faire.  We will be taking a full day to explore the most beautiful, quintessential Cotswold’s villages, shopping, antiquing, enjoying afternoon tea, and a lovely walk through farms to a hilltop picnic lunch.  We will also be taking the train from Kingham to Oxford, where we will explore this amazing city, enjoy lunch at Trinity College, and even tour the Bodleian library.  Amidst all of these exciting adventures, I’ve also carved out an afternoon of touring the countryside via public footpaths (I’m taking you on my favorite one!), where we will stop for watercolor painting and writing throughout; a practice in truly being present and leaning into whimsical rhythms.  I want this to be an experience you will always hold dear to your heart. One that feels restorative, and also adventurous! An experience that teaches and inspires and also encourages us in our everyday lives. And what a blessing to be able to do it all alongside a wonderful group of women.

It was so nice to simply show up and have everything completely planned for us – and far better and more luxurious than I could have ever done myself! From the lodging, to the transportation, to the gifts (and my new favorite toiletry bag!), the highest quality meals I’ve experienced, and incredible conversations and friendships – Thank you for this experience, truly the absolute best experience!  So grateful for my time with you all!”
